Research Opportunities at Law Lab (Superior Laryngeal Nerds)

POST-DOC
We seek to bring objective measures to the very subjective task of laryngeal endoscopy interpretation. Laryngeal endoscopy, or laryngoscopy, is a critical aspect of the head & neck physical examination. It is the gold standard for the diagnosis of all laryngeal pathology including laryngeal cancer. While endoscopy is a boom for patients as it is minimally invasive, the loss of 3D visualization leads to suboptimal clinical outcomes. We seek to develop depth estimation techniques and applications for laryngeal endoscopy video in order to re-capture important 3D information.

We are seeking a highly motivated Ph.D./postdoc candidate to work in one of the following areas of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning for Healthcare:
• Computer vision
• Data curation for ML in Healthcare
• Acoustic analysis
• Computer vision and depth estimate
